I am an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Oregon where I teach undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship.
I graduated from Brown University with a BA in Economics and French Studies and worked for several years in various research roles before earning my PhD in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 2024. I am also a proud Haligonian and alumna of Canada's Parliamentary Internship Programme.
As part of my doctoral work at HBS, I created the Hiring at Top Startups (HATS) Study. Now in its third year, HATS aims to better understand how entrepreneurs find and compensate the talented employees they need to scale their organizations.
My name is pronounced E-nessa Co-lay-ah-co-vo.Â
